On the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th of June 2010 Brockworth youth centre created a graffiti piece in memory of a local young girl. The art piece named 'Brockworth Remembers' reflected the history of Brockworth in a time line and was a great success with the local residents.
ADIDAS OUTDOOR GYM OPENING
On the 31st of March 2010 Faction Crew performed at the opening of the Adizone outdoor gym funded by Adidas and Count me in. The Adizone was officially opened by olympic gold and silver medallist Jason Kenny. Faction performed their freestyle set and ran a breakdance workshop making the event a great success.
BRMB RADIO INTERVIEW
On Friday the 12th of February 2010 B-Boy Rival featured on Birminghams BRMB Radio. Hosted by Tim Shaw from Channel 5's Fifth Gear, Rival talked about the history of breakdancing and its rising popularity amongst youths. Rival also taught the studio crew some moves live on air and did a short display with B-Girl Finesse.
PITTVILLE SCHOOL PROJECT - 2009
For the 4th year running, Pittville school have booked one of our top dance tutors to run a breakdance course for year 8 boys in their P.E. lessons. Each year the project has been a great success seeing the boys learn a variety of breakdance and streetdance routines. The boys have really enjoyed the project each year it has been ran and in December 2009 this years group will be performing their dance piece for the schools annual dance gala.
FACTION BIRTHDAY FREESTYLE SET
On the 28th of November 2009 two members of Faction performed at a 16th birthday party in Essex, entertaining people of all ages with their breakdance freestyle set. Rival and Finesse from the Faction Crew performed a 4 minute set giving all the guests a taste of breakdancing at it's finest.
